So watched "The Lion in Winter" last night. Man, talk about dysfunctional family! But it was a great production, with much humor and poignancy. Maurice Ralston just consistently keeps getting better and better and better!

It was also my friend and co-worker Jeanette's 30th birthday! I had much fun decorating her office before she came in, with a big "Happy Birthday" banner and lots of confetti. Hee. A group of about 17 (or so) of us went out with her after the show to celebrate at the Hard Rock Cafe. (Which, incidentally, is where she, Kristin, and I went after the Duran Duran show.) I just hope she had a great birthday.

Am very bored at work. (Though I did have quite a busy week!) Hoping it's just because it's so soon after the holidays and folks are trying to conserve a little money that they're not coming to the theatre in droves right now. Hoping it will pick up as the month goes on. The show we've got running right now is definitely worth seeing.

Hmmmm....maybe I should go memorize "Midsummer" lines. That makes sense....
