"Our Town" at the Shakespeare Tavern

"One of our biggest competitors is in town: great weather. So it doesn't surprise me that we have a combined total (over 4 days) of 128 people coming to see our current production of 'Our Town.'

ETA: I shake my fist at the weather, even though, as I type this I am mesmerized by a super-green tree outside my office window.

*sigh*

I want to be outside as much as the next person who's doped up on Claritin. But I also feel a passion for "Our Town". It's a simple & profound classic that will tug at your heartstrings all night long and leave you feeling the theater like you have a purpose in life.

I'm hoping that part of your purpose in life is to help...so I am asking everyone to help pass the word on that we are offering 2 for 1 tickets to see "Our Town" any night this weekend if you contact the box office and say/write the magic phrase: 'There is a light and it never goes out.'

Anyone who sees this show will feel like their spirit has just taken a nice shower (wash off all-a that mental pollen!)

To second what froofie said...it's a great show. One of those that tugs at the heartstrings, makes you laugh, makes you cry...it's just wonderful. So ya'll come, and bring friends! The box office goddesses at the Tavern thank you muchly. :)
