Still sick

Went back to the doctor this morning...got different antibiotics and eardrops. Hopefully they will work this time. Dr. was even nice enough to give me her personal voice mail number in case I hadn't gotten any better in 14 days.

Being a singer and musician, and having stopped up ears is terrible. I spent the whole weekend at GARF in fear of being completely out of pitch with my bandmates. No one threw any rotten fruit, though, so I guess I was okay. Thank goodness for muscle memory! I'm hoping I can hear better for this coming weekend. C'mon, antibiotics, do your stuff!

Rivka and I will be doing the "Half Ale" thing this Saturday, so yamguitar can get to see elliedee graduate. Congratulations to elliedee, by the way, and to Rivka, both of whom get their masters' degrees this month. (yamguitar and I will be "Half Ale" on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.) Kudos to both of you for all your hard work and dedication.

Work is boring and very slow today. Yesterday, I finished the project I was working on (still need to email it to the appropriate people) detailing the percentage of the house that is full on a given night of the week. (Yeah, exciting...) I've also updated the mailing list. I suppose I can catch up on (personal) email now. Ugh. I'm just still all stuffed in the head and don't feel like doing much of anything.

In good news...NEW LOST TONIGHT! Yippie!

In other good news, captnsparrow has the possibility of getting a REALLY COOL gig doing the Jack Sparrow thing. *crosses fingers*

You sounded fine to me! :) I went for a guitar lesson on Monday and I had to tune my guitar three times throughout the lesson-- stupid ears all plugged... being sick sucks. *grr*

I swear, with everybody else around me sick - I'm almost starting to feel bad that I'm not. I'm not even having that many problems with allergies this year (more rain=less pine). You sounded just fine...*rarely* did I notice anything even out of whack, and that would definitely be only because I've heard just about everything a gazzillion times! Feel better, you! *crosses fingers for Sparrow, too*

You sounded fabulous as usual this weekend. If I had not already known about the sick issue, I would never have known.

Hope you are feeling better soon. When I am stuffed up I end up having to use a Vick's vaporizor when I sleep. It really seems to help clear stuff up. Also there are some really great bath salts at Harry's Market that work wonders for clearing things out for a time. *runs to the bathroom* Masada Mineral Herb Spa - Cold & Flu. It has Echinacea, goldenseal and eucalyptus in it. It helps a LOT with Kevin's sinus issues and even he can breath after just sniffing that stuff. When I have a cold or stuffiness I carry some around in a small plastic container for sniffing. If I am really really stuffed up, I add additional drops of eucalyptus plus some tea tree oil to help me breath.

Sorry you haven't been feeling well. Kim told me you were sick the weekend they came down. I'm just a horrible friend right now.... I haven't even found out how anyone has been lately.... I suck
