Let's Dance!

Okay, first (though it's already been posted once on my friends' list), I'm really excited about this:

Second, I went and took a dance class last night! WOOT!

It was a Hip Hop class, offered by Culture Shock Atlanta, and the studio is right on my way home. I felt a little out of my element, as Hip Hop is very stylized and not a style I'm very familiar with doing, but it was SO MUCH FUN! I hurt this morning, though. I'd forgotten what that feeling was like...the feeling of "I worked my body hard, and this is good pain!" Muscles I forgot I had are going, "Yo, remember us?!"
The class is offered every Thursday night, and I'd like to continue taking it. I also want to check out the Dance 101 (www.dance101.org) studio. They have some fun looking classes in styles other than Hip Hop, and on other days than Thursday. Maybe I can even take 2 classes a week! WOOT! ('Twould get my tushie back in shape, too, and that's always a good thing.) And it put me in the best mood today!

Next week, though, I have my "Tempest" audition for Offshoot Productions on Thursday. So, guess I'll have to skip a week of dancing. Ah, well.

YEAH for you. Always a GOOD GOOD feeling when those muscles hurt because you have done a good thing for your body. And never bad to get those endorphins working from exercise. Glad it was fun and definitely keep up the good work. *hugs*

While the hurt still hurts, at least it's a good hurt! ;P Yay for you!! To quote someone I despised watching as a child "I knew you could". Hip Hop was always mostly fun to me. Best of luck on the audition. We missed you last night at the park. Freaky fun was had...?
