Been a while since I posted. I've been keeping busy with GARF, work, 80's band, and Cabaret rehearsals. Everything is going well, but I don't have much free time.

But I just had to post about Caberet. I was a little worried last week, during the dance rehearsals, because things were raunchy, and sexy, and I was a little uncomfortable, both for myself, and for the Tavern's audience.

But Tuesday night, at the read/sing-thru, I realized...we're gonna have a great show.

The script is so powerful, juxtaposing the fun, free, devil may care attitude of the Kit Kat Klub, and what is going on in Berlin, Germany outside of the Klub in 1930. And our leads, they get it. There was already some amazing stuff happening, even just in the read-thru.

I'm excited to get this show in front of an audience. People are going to be shocked, they're going to be moved, it's gonna make 'em think. And make 'em laugh. And make 'em cry, too.

Plus, Jeff McKerley will be in fishnets. Wheeeee!

Come see good theatre and help me out in the process!

"What good is sitting all alone in your room? Come, hear the music play!"

The Shakespeare Tavern morphs into the Kit Kat Club and comes alive with incredible music and dance in this award-winning musical.
Cabaret throws an incandescent spotlight upon both the gay and dark sides of Berlin society as the Nazis rise to power. Cabaret remains a true high point of American musical theater that is both exuberant and tragic. "Life is a cabaret, old chum." Come to the Tavern today.
