This is what happens
Apr. 8th, 2004 04:19 pmwhen I'm bored at work....
1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says
"shaky memory, he added, 'Ferda dy Gura; my brother Foix.' " (from "Paladin of Souls" by Lois McMaster Bujold)
2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
the side wall of my desk
3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?
the Today show
4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:
4:30 PM
5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
Well, my computer clock says 4:21 PM, but in actuality it's 3:46 PM. (Hey, network admin, fix, please!)
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Some crappy song on 99x, Zach fixing the stairs
7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?
about 10 AM this morning...unlocked the front doors of the Tavern and walked down the street to pick up a copy of Creative Loafing (in which is a photo and mention of a certain sexy pirate...)
8: Before you came to this (meme,) what did you look at?
I was checking my email
9: What are you wearing?
a blue sweater, floral twirly skirt, lotsa rings
10: Did you dream last night?
I did, but my dreams (unless very vivid) tend to fade away when I wake up
11: When did you last laugh?
When I read the mention of Capt. Jack and the Lost Boys in the Loaf
ETA: specifically at the misquote of the LB lyric to "Serf Music": "Fun fun fun 'til my master takes the ox cart away." Ox cart, wenches, whatever.... ;)
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?
On the walls of my desk are pretty pictures of various boys that Jeanette and I find sexy. That, and info about box office stuff (prices, phone numbers, etc.) The bigger room at large...pics from past shows, posters, a Shakespeare banner, souvenirs.
13: Seen anything weird lately?
4 guys in kilts singing the National Anthem at the Braves game last night. ;)
14: What do you think of this quiz?
pretty entertaining
15: What is the last film you saw?
ROTK, with Penny and Nancy
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
I think the first thing I'd do isn't buy something, but pay off my car loan and student loans. Then I'd probably buy plane tickets to London.
17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
Hmmm...I really hated high school. I wasn't in the "in" crowd because all the other students were rich kids and I wasn't. Most people would LOVE to be 16 again. Me, NO WAY!
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
I'd erase bigotry, prejudice, and hatred. I think most of the other problems would solve themselves on their own after that.
19: Do you like to dance?
Anyone who has known me for about 2 seconds knows the answer to this is a huge, resounding YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
20: George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?
George Bush: BLEH!
21a: Imagine your first child/kitten is a girl, what do you call her?
I'd love to name my first born daughter Elanor Morgan
21b: Imagine your first child/kitten is a boy, what do you call him?
Samuel
22: Would you ever consider living abroad?
Yes, but I wouldn't want to go alone....
