The craziness never ends...

Just when it seems one project is coming to an end, two more step up to take its place.

"Midsummer" matinees are winding down, just in time for GARF to open. Opening weekend at GARF was a success, or so it seemed to me. "Rosemary" wasn't there, and wont' be again this weekend, but "Pete" and "Ariana" pulled it off just fine without her (though she was sorely missed). The weather was nice, if a bit warm, the patrons were generous. Now if they could just bring back the cider, it'd be perfect.

Starting up next week: rehearsals for "Forum." We have rehearsals every single weeknight except for one Monday from now until we open. ACK! I'm trying to figure out when I will have time to do things like sleep and laundry. Oh, and cleaning my house, which is getting really nasty. I so need to clean the bathroom (blue fuzzy towels...bad idea) and vacuum and rinse down my nice pollen-covered patio. Oh, yeah, and dust the place too. Bleh.

There are several shows going on right now I want to see, too. Allison's Sketchworks show, and "Be Agressive." But I don't think I'll make it to either of those, dangit.

Cause I also have to help Nancy in planning Penny and Roby's engagement party, and figure out someone to make my bridesmaid dress for the wedding. At least I'm not involved in quite as many weddings as supergoober, because then I don't really know how I'd do it all. I already feel guilty that I'm using Evite for the party invitations, rather than doing pretty handwritten ones with a cute photo of the Bride and Groom to be, but, man, there just isn't time! I'm already going to be late to the party I'm supposed to be co-hostessing, simply because the only night we could do it was a Saturday night after Faire! Sheesh!

I'm also a bit conflicted...I think I got off on the wrong foot with someone, and I'd like to remedy that, but I'm not really sure of the best way to do so. Hmmm...I'm sure I'll figure out something.

I miss blackwidowcrf. It was good to see you this past weekend! Can't wait 'til you visit again! Hope the RC drama and the RL bossman aren't giving you as difficult a time this week.

Oh, and smoochies to captnsparrow. Can't wait to see my new chemise! :) ♥

I suppose I better get back to work. My LJ addiction is just about as bad as supergoober's!

Yep...Evite is our salvation this time around.

I just keep thinking of you and how everything had to be all perfect for Allison and Kelley's engagement party. If only we had more time to plan for Penny and Roby's.....

Well, for pete's sake, just thank your lucky stars that you're not as big a stress freak as I am and move on with your life!!!

I stressed out way too much about that shower last year; at the end of the day, how could it possibly have gone wrong? Nancy's house is perfect for parties. :)

Well, just look at E-vite this way: at least you're not a the point where you have you buy those birthday invitations in bulk, scratch out the word "birthday", and then quickly scrawl in the word "engagement" in its place. Though it may be useful when one is low on cash, you still have to worry about the little cartoon birthday cake on the front...that is unless you quickly take a ballpoint to it and draw little stick figures of the bride and groom on top of it!

OK, I've succumbed. If that's how you spell it - anyway, here I am.

Don't worry too much about Penny & Roby's party, it'll be a pretty easy one. The thing I've learned about parties is the most important thing is having good people there, and we've got that covered. The food's pretty easy, and I need to clean anyway. I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for doing the invitiations, too. That's the organizing part that I usually hate.

I had fun at the Festival, wish I could have stayed longer on Sunday since I didn't get to see Nancy or Penny very much and I'm such a lame ass cause I miss lindsey's set EVERY time! duhhhhh... Okay, i'm hoping to be back down there on the 9th, so, I'm NOT gonna miss it this time. Just staple my ass to the bench (shouldn't be too hard) Can't wait to see Rivka too! Although, you guys did do a grand job!!

Glad I got to talk to you this week on the AIM at least! Here's hoping the boss is gone again so I can sneak back on... Have my review scheduled FINALLY for Thursday. Going to prove what a GREAT actress I am and act surprised when the dope tells me what my raise is (or isn't as the case may be - certainly not what I want!)

We miss you too! Wish you could have stayed longer on Sunday. If you sit in the pub long enough next time, you'll get to hear Lindsay's set. She has a CD now too! :) And Rivka will be back this weekend, thank goodness! Though I did have fun performing with Dolph, and everyone was saying that if they didn't already know we had a third member, they'd never have known something was missing. It'll be good to be all Three Quarters again though. :)

I dunno if I'll get to talk to you before Thursday, but if not, good luck on your review! Try not to throw things at your stupid boss.... ;)
