Invasion weekend

Boy was it crazy this weekend! Rogues and Wenches invasioned seemed to be a rousing success. Thanks to all the old friends and new ones who were such a great pub audience for TQA!

A bunch of folks from the Shakespeare Tavern came down on Monday, too, and it was fun to see all of them. I'm glad we did "Grape Stompin' song" when they were all in the audience. They got why that's doubly funny right now. ;)

Must share my favorite story of the weekend...on Saturday, two gypsy lasses came up to me, introduced themselves as being from the southern province of Orlando, the Magic Kingdom of Disney. (hee!)
They proceeded to tell me they had read the TQA story "on the magic box" and understood that gypsies are all about family and togetherness. "You have found a home with TQA, but we also want to adopt you into our clan."

It's so cool that people are actually reading the story, and I was so touched that Ariana now has a new gypsy family! It really did make me cry. :) Good tears.

It's getting close to quittin' time, so I better end this for now...

I keep waiting for recaps from some of the folks that were there, but no one is posting. I just always love to hear what everyone's personal experiences were. (But not the overly personal ones ;) )

Yeah...it really was very moving for me. Just the fact that people read the TQA story is cool; the fact that they DO SOMETHING about it is just the best!

Yay for invasion weekend... of course, I staged my OWN invasion and it's definitely great to be adopted into the "clan" (in this case the LB/TQA family clan!) Well, okay, maybe I wasn't adopted, I staged a coup! hahahahahahahahahaha
