1. My favorite childhood toy was: my blankie…it was a knit blanket with a satin border and I used to love running the satin part through my fingers.

2. The worst part of cleaning house is: dusting. It makes me sneeze.

3. Briefly describe a fantastic kiss. Soft, gentle, a little tongue but not too much…I like it when someone’s hands are on my face when we’re kissing.

4. Name a smell that you love, and one that you hate. I love the smell of Nancy’s brownies baking in the kitchen at the Tavern. I hate the smell of Renaissance Parkway where all the bums pee on the street.

5. What scared you when you were little? The dark Does it still scare you? Sometimes, particularly if I’ve just read or seen something scary.

6. One of my absolute favorite cheesy, corny, guilty pleasures is: cornball romantic comedies

7. Without qualifying or undercutting it, describe something you like about one of your parents / a person that raised you. Do you have that quality? I love the way my mother always remembers birthdays/anniversaries/special occasions. I make every effort to, but sometimes I’m a bit forgetful.

8. My most daring fashion risk ever was: I dunno…I thought the halter-top and leather pants that I used to wear onstage with KL were pretty daring, or the mini-skirt and corset top. Though I think I do get a bit more leeway being in a rock band. ;)

9. What’s one of the most physically difficult things you’ve ever done? What about intellectually difficult? Probably the same thing: getting my college degree. Usually 18-21 credit hours/semester, plus rehearsals, shows, not enough sleep, eating college cafeteria food…

10. My favorite dessert is: chocolate cream pie

11. Briefly describe a good experience you had with a person who was previously unfamiliar…either a stranger or someone you didn’t much like. Wow, this is a difficult question…recently, it was with a gentleman on the phone who called the Tavern for information, and I was such a good saleswoman I talked him into buying some tickets! (Just hope he enjoyed the show...)

12. Are you better with plants or with pets? Neither, really, but I’ll say plants since I’m allergic to most pets. I’ve managed to make that peace lily live for a year or two.

13. My first crush was on: Matt Orienter, in preschool…he was my first boyfriend too.

14. If I were sitting in a room with nothing to occupy myself but a pen and a blank pad of paper, I would: write a story or doodle

15. Without any disclaimers or apologies, describe your best physical feature. My hair. I have perfect Shakespeare heroine hair. ;)

Ditto that. I tend to prefer that to other parts of the anatomy. :}

*hugs* I hope your melancholy feelings disappear!!

I had a blankie too- actually a quilt one of my aunt's made. I had a hard time picking between my quilt and Firry :) But, the fuzzy rodent (who lost an eye) won out :)

Hope you are surviving!! I so missed seeing you in Tempest and Midsummer, I can't even tell you how much...

Melancholy feelings aren't too bad...just have a lot going on and a lot on my mind, is all. Maybe melancholy wasn't the right emotion...more contemplative. Ah well.

I had to pick my blankie cause I slept with it every night! :) It was calming. And I always understood how Linus felt when Snoopy tried to steal his blankie away!

I'm sorry you had to miss comign to the shows this past weekend! Maybe you can come down in Sept. and catch "Much Ado." You and Kat should plan a trip together!

*hugs*

Dude, peace lilies ROCK! You cannot kill those things! My ex-boss gave me one for Secretary's Day three years ago, and it's still going strong on my desk, even though the only time I pay it any attention at all is when I occasionally look up and notice that it's all droopy and splatted on the desk because nobody's watered it.

Dude, totally! I usually do remember to water mine, but every so often I forget and realize it's droopy, and give it a little water, and it's all okay again!!!

This one's really special too, because Danny and Lynda sent it to my family when Gene's mother passed away. So I'm glad it's a hearty plant and has managed to survive even with my black thumb. ;)
