Man is there a lot going on!
Getting all ready for Penny and Roby's wedding this Saturday! I have to go home tonight and pack and make sure I have everything, because tomorrow I'll have to leave straight from the show to head to Rockmart to be a bridesmaid! I'm bummed that I'm gonna miss much of the evening...playing with makeup and doing mani- and pedicures. Ah, the life of an actor. I keep reminding myself that I am NOT the worst bridesmaid ever (I feel like that sometimes because if I had more time there'd be so much more I could do to help!) Ugh. I do have lists everywhere so I don't forget anything, and I have printed out directions that I will put and leave in my car so I don't have to think about them tomorrow.
But I am so excited for Penny and Roby. They look so happy and so in love, and if the rehearsal the other night was any indication, I need to make sure I am well supplied with tissues! Shadow is doing the ceremony, and it's just going to be beautiful. Wheeeeee! *twirl twirl twirl* Oh, yes, and all the bridesmaids (and of course the bride, which goes without saying if you know Penny at all!) will be barefoot. :)
Only 10 more "Forum" shows to go before vacation! As much as I love this show, and as much fun as it is, I think I will be glad to see it close. I've been going pretty much non-stop since about February, going right from "Midsummer" into GARF into "Forum" (with lotsa overlap there too) and I'm just getting to the point where I'm burnt out and need a break. crazyauntjaynie and captnsparrow and Gene to the rescue! They're gonna help me get stuff for breakfasts for the bride and bridesmaids on Saturday morning. phew! ♥ ♥ ♥ and thanks!
Am looking forward to July and vacation. I know I'll have to come in to work a few times, to make up the days I'll miss when I'm at Tybee, and just to clear off Spam from my work email so it doesn't crash the system. Plus the Rogue Fest, singing the National Anthem on the 4th at Centennial park, hopefully getting to do one of Charles' fight workshops. But I'll still be able to do stuff on MY schedule, and sleep in at least sometimes!
