1. I wanted to be a dancer for most of my young life. (Until I developed hips and boobs.) I used to make up dance routines in my playroom.

2. I once got told, on a madrigal singing gig, that I could be the "poster child for the Renaissance."

3. I got asked by a little girl, on a different madrigal gig, if I was a princess.

4. I first read "The Hobbit" in high school, but didn't read LOTR until after college.

5. I hate spiders and snakes.

6. I'm allergic to cats, but I LOVE them!

7. I've been playing flute for 18 years.

8. I agree with captnsparrow's #3.

9. I love to swing dance. Haven't done it in way too long.

10. I was on ballroom dance team in college.

11. I love to read.

12. I can only wear vanilla scented perfume/lotion. Anything else makes me sneeze.

13. I'm scared of needles.

14. Pertinent to #13-I have no tattoos. But I know exactly what I'd want if I got one...a Celtic knotwork crescent moon on the small of my back.

15. I have low blood sugar.

16. Like captnsparrow, I wanted to be an astronomer when I was younger.

17. I love pasta. (What was that about hobbits not doing atkins?)

18. I've never smoked a cigarette, nor had any desire to.

19. I love to sing karaoke.

20. I'd rather wear silver than gold.

Pfft! Hobbits don't need Atkins! *wears that button proudly* And I hate needles too. I have two piercings in each ear though...that didn't seem to bother me o_O. I'm allergic to cats too, but I love them and have one lol. *sneeze*

You're darn right, hobbits don't need atkins! ;) I LOVE that button...so much so that I'm almost afraid to wear it for fear of losing it!

I have two piercings in each ear also, but I think I was about 12 before I got any piercings...and when I did, they pierced my ears at the same time! I got the second holes later.

I have two cats as well...had three until a couple weeks ago when one disappeared. We think she climbed into the back of a truck and they drove away. *sad* (I inherited them...they're actually Wade's cats...)

1. Ummm, my standard number 1 is: I have vitiligo. Not quite piebaldism, but I do have two distinct different colors of skin in a pattern that I have had since I was 6 months old.

2. I love being an Ayi: Chinese for aunt (my niece is a Spicy baby from the Hunan province of the P.R.C.)

3. I If I eat chocolate, more often than not I want it to have nuts in it.

4. I have been told that I make some of the best rum balls folks have tasted, and that I should open a candy business selling them.

5. I am allergic to Neomyacin- that stuff that makes Neosporin be Neosporin, or any other Poly- or triple antibiotic ointments/ creams. Anaphylactic reaction.

6. My favorite dessert is my grandmother’s recipe for coconut custard pie.

7. Singing solo in public is probably one of my greatest fears.

8. I am sucker for fuzzy four-legged animals.

9. Despite having taken dance lessons since I was 3, I am an awful dance partner when it comes to social dance.

10. I want to learn Argentine Tango.

11. I could easily be a hermit- I love to hole up at home most nights to read or vegetate, away from the world.

12. I have sand from the base of the pyramids in my living room- despite the fact that importing soil from international countries is against Customs regulations.

13. I have a tattoo that is my dance name in Egyptian hieroglyphics at the small of my back.

14. I don’t want any children of my own.

15. I have officially high cholesterol.

16. I am legally Hispanic by U.S. definitions, thanks to my great-grandmother. However, if I ever DID have children, they would not be.

17. I need about 8-10 hours of sleep. I can easily sleep more, and I am nicest if I get a nap during the day (which doesn’t happen often).

18. I've I have a strange habit of naming my pets after Russian people/ places/ things… My first hamster was Raskolnikov (from Crime & Punishment), my second was Nadia; my first all-mine cat was Siberia; my second cat is Pushkin…

19. I love it when people play with my hair.

20. I don’t particularly like the taste of alcohol, so I have a drink only once or twice a month.
