I didn't start watching til Jan. or Feb. of last year, and I was hooked- the eye candy is a bonus, but the writers do such a fabulous job, as does the director. Everything is very intentional and there are lots of sub-plots. One of the most addictive shows in a long time, I think! I was thrilled it one the Emmy for Best Drama- the cast works very hard and they are very much equal players- some episodes focus on certain characters more than others, but then the next episodes will follow switch and cath you up on the ones that wer eint he background the week before.

If you watch tonight at 8pm I believe the first hour is a recap of Season 1, so it would at least give you a good background before the premiere at 9pm. But, definitely watch the DVD- the episodes are too well crafted not to!

I miss you too!!!!!!!! I do need to post! I was going to write a post about New Orleans right before Katrina hit, and since then I just haven't had it in me to post on anything...
