karmakeys told me that my DCon update post didn't show up on her friends' page. So I'm hoping this one goes through.

ETA: I think I fixed the problem. I hope.

Hope you don't mind, I friended you. I don't think I've met you at person, but the husband and I are friends of Wade. He's always been sweet and tried to talk the husband out of staying in the army.

I'm also snagging a few pics off your photo page. I was dressed as geisha and Pete was dressed in Stargate in some pics. :)

A few years back, we made friends with a guy at DragonCon who was dressed in FarScape costumes with the rest of us. Pete is lousy at keeping in touch, so the emailing/IMing fell to me because I like keeping in touch on the computer and I don't deploy (Pete is gone more than he is home). His ladyfriend didn't take to kindly to that, so now I'm super hesitant about friending people because you never know who has insecurities and who doesn't. You seem pretty cool, but the last thing I want is for you to think I'm a threat.

I try not to be the psycho girlfriend! Wade gets so much attention as Capt. Jack that sometimes it's very difficult, but ultimately, I trust him and he comes home with me. ;)
