The Police concert was made of AWESOME! They're sounding fabulous, and I couldn't have asked for better company. :)

However, if you're afraid of heights, think twice about buying seats in the 300 ("nosebleed") section of PHillips Arena. Because they are scary. Like, my quote of the night was: "I really wish we had seats where we could get up and dance, instead of me being scared for my life to stand up!"

I went to a concert there once. I had seats on the main floor (crappy folding chairs) but I did look up and damn... that's high. I remember thinking that at the time.

It was a Pearl Jam concert, and they had so much in the way of smoke and other pyrotechnics that I bet at the end of the show, you couldn't even see the stage from up there.

Oh, Philips Arena is scary! It seems like most of the shows i've been to there are way up in the nosebleed seats, and I get scared walking down the stairs to the seats. There is this irrational part of me that imagines tripping and falling down the stairs and over the railing to my death! :)~

As I wrote to your honey...jealous...had a chance to see them in July...floor seats, ticket was paid for....and I had to cancel b/c of surgery....wah!
