1. For the first time in my life, I have a cat. I've always been allergic before now, but I've managed to acclimate myself to captnsparrow's cat, Jake. Jake has now adopted me, and will come to me before he goes to Wade. He's a male cat...he likes the ladies. ;) In fact, he's sitting on the arm of my computer chair right now. Not sure exactly what breed he is, but we think part Maine Coon.

2. I have absolutely no visual artistic talent whatsoever. I can barely draw stick-figures.

3. The necklace I wear everyday has a Jerusalem Cross charm, that is actually from Jerusalem and has been to the Vatican and been blessed by Pope John Paul II. An old friend of mine went on a pilgrimage and brought it back for me. It also has a moon and star charm, because the moon is my ruling sign (Cancer).

4. My Dad, my hubby, and my only maternal aunt (who is also my godmother) all share the same birthday (March 16). Obviously
not the same year, though. ;)

5. I never learned to ride a bicycle.

6. I wear vanilla scented stuff, because it's one of the few scents I can wear that don't make me sneeze. Florals or musks-forget it! Vanilla, cinnamon, and the like are okay. Stupid allergies.

7. My gypsy character came from a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. My then-boyfriend basically created a character for me who was what he imagined I would be if I were a DnD character...a gypsy bard. Obviously, it stuck. ;)

Gryn! "Elycia" was also a D&D character, created by a boyfriend (though I actually rolled her up). Great minds think alike--or at least choose the same types of usernames! :-)

Awesome! "gypsyariana" also became the basis for my Renn Fest character. Though her name wasn't originally Ariana...I picked that later. But the whole gypsy persona thing just stuck. :)
