I am happy-got to sleep in this morning, and though it is supposed to be 97 degrees today, I can spend it inside in air-conditioning, and not ouside in a bodice! HUZZAH!

However, the City of Atlanta is pissing me off with all these lane and exit closures. Ugh.

I will admit one thing I haven't missed is Atlanta traffic patterns. Every time I come back I find someplace I used to know my way around that I suddenly "can't get to from here"

Dude...they're resurfacing the entire downtown connector, and this weekend, 3 right hand southbound lanes are closed, including the North Ave. exit. I've had to call all the Tavern patrons and warn them to find alternate routes.

It is a royal pain in the ass.

I chalk up not having to deal with that right next to spending two summers not spending a dime on gas due to being out of the country as "fringe benefits"

Oh, wow. I stayed late for the opening party after the show, and then slept until the sun was up this morning. Luxury.

And working in the un-air-conditioned Will Call area at the Horizon, A/C was in the next room, and I had on loose clothes. Again with the luxury!

By the by, I thoroughly enjoyed Much Ado last night.
