Old soul....

Thinking about that Tarot Card thing, and the response supergoober had to mine makes me wonder...

I didn't get one of those "higher path" cards. The reason on the website had to do with being a newer soul as opposed to an old soul.

My mom, crazyauntjaynie has always said I'm an old soul...and I think she'd know. I've always had an affinity for old Celtic myths and legends, and Mom swears I lived back then. I had a teacher in high school who always told me I looked like a Renaissance princess. Not that I'd want to go live back then, because I really like my modern conveniences, but it's interesting to think about.

Why are we drawn to certain people? Or interested in certain time periods? My Tia (mom's sister) is a huge Civil War buff and totally convinced she was a nurse back then.

Oh, bummer...I'd really like to post more about this, but I have to get back to work...

I think that is so cool that you got to speak and *sing* in Welsh!!!! I too wish there was some way to really know about past lives. Wonder if regression works? Wonder why we forget in the first place?

have you thought about studying more welsh? Do you know if you have any welsh blood in you, or what parts of your family are of celtic origin? I'm not always sure we stay in te saem family, but that might give some clues too...

I wish we could really know about past lives too. I don't know if regression works, but it might be fun to try anyway! I wonder if we forget as we get used to each new life...they always say that babies are closest to the angels...I wonder if when we're little we still remember snippets?

I would love to study more Welsh, if I had the time and money to take classes. It's really a beautiful, musical, haunting language. I don't have any Welsh blood, but my dad's family is French, traced back to Brittany. So that's my Celtic connection.

Hmmm...this would be a fun topic for a late night philosophical discussion...maybe at the beach?!

This is a PERFECT beach conversation!!!!! I just talked to the recruiter at BofA tonight to negotiate some time off for the summer, and I have managed to squeak out 3 days for the beach- the Monday, Tuesday, and Wed. (have to be back Thursday morning though :P :P :P) I have a dance workshop the weekend before in greensboro, so I probably won't get to the beach til late sunday night or early monday morning, depending on Chaz' preference :) :) :)

I am so excited!!!!!! can I just say, *thank you* to you and the KL family, y'all have made me feel so good!!!!!! I was so worried I'd end up being an umpteenth wheel that everyone looked askance at ;) ;) ;) Now I know, when everyone looks askance at me, it's just because of my normal freakiness :) :) :) ***hugs***
